Whether filling bud vases with handpicked flowers as a young child or spending hour after hour of her teenage years in musical theatre rehearsals, Alicia Cantor Palm has always been committed to a life in art and design.

Before the founding of Cantor Palm Design, Alicia trained and worked for five years with several of New York City’s leading floral designers. After returning to Florida, she continued designing florals for weddings and unique event installations. She also gained valuable business experience managing a retail flower shop in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Alicia holds a BS in Sociology from Jacksonville University. She and her husband, Thomas, live in Jacksonville and recently had their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Hazel.

From her girlhood days crafting her dolls’ clothes to creating bespoke celebratory experiences with Cantor Palm Design, Kari Green Strate has spent her entire life immersed in the world of design.

After gaining her formal art education at SCAD, and working for 10 years as an apparel designer in New York City, she returned to Florida with her husband Nick and their rescue dog, Cricket. Kari’s passion for creating mood boards, custom palettes and beautiful events led her to a chance collaboration with Alicia. Soon after having her daughter, Goldie, Kari officially joined the Cantor Palm team.

Kari, Nick, Goldie, and Cricket live in Neptune Beach.

Barbara Cantor Palm, born in New York City and raised in Connecticut, grew up immersed in art and culture, and developed an early appreciation for fine things.
